International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory

Baltimore, MD | 2021

▪ As a student consultant, collaborated with the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory on the benefits of CLeANFIT technology, a novel method for 3D Micro- and Nanotopography Characterization.
▪ Analyzed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for CLeANFIT technology application.
▪ Provided market entry strategies on short-term entry, next steps, and long-term future considerations.
▪ Consulted with key nanotopography industry leaders and potential stakeholders to determine opportunities for CleANFIT’s application in the market.
▪ Analyzed the regulatory process and other industry challenges that could impede CLeANFIT’s entry.

Malone Center for Engineering in HealthCare

Led a smaller team of fullstack developers in creating the front-end UI using React JS and the backend using Unity Webgl development.
Utilized the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, NodeJS) to develop the web app on the frontend team.
Communicated with XMode data collection company to incorporate geolocation data into the web app.

Created a mobile application to be used by the Baltimore Orioles through the Flutter/Dart mobile app development for baseball pitcher plans, scheduler, and sports analytics. Streamlined app to be used to by other sports.
Utilized machine learning techniques to predict and understand the “weekend effect” on hospital patients and code for pre-habilitative studies.

Research: Creating drug delivery vessels through the use of PEGylated nanoparticles to treat COPD, bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis. This form of gene therapy involved the assembly/disassembly of instruments used in the manufacturing of these nanoparticles to gauge effectiveness. Effectiveness determined on MATLAB.

Computer Integrated Surgery Department

Johns Hopkins University, MD | 2017 - 2018

Built and trained a simple convolutional neural network using TensorFlow, C/C++, and MNIST data to recognize different number of inputs and reducing human bias in noninvasive procedures.
Translated CT data to achieve the accurate anteroposterior view of the pelvis from the operating table that would reduce the requirement for extra scans.

Developed a financial corpus for the bank using web scraping and NLP techniques. Analyzed consumer complaints using sentiment analysis & created a question/answering service with document summarization. Analyzed stock profiles to determine best stock portfolios (won a top 10 out of 200 award) and automated financial reports using Python. Redesigned a financial high school summer internship program operated by the bank.
